Mypeople is recruiting for an international BI company. To join the team in Brazil – remotely, we are looking for a:

DATA ENGINEER – Freelance / Autonomous

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems/engineering, computer science and management or a similar subject
• Proficiency in modeling and optimizing data warehouses with SQL – preferred
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Solid knowledge and experience in Databricks and Pyspark
• Experience in Cloud Datawarehousing (e.g. Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse)
• Ability to model and optimize workflows (e.g. Apache Airflow, DBT)
• Analytical, innovative and solution-oriented spirit
• Teamwork, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Rigor and organizational skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Residence in Brazil
• Willingness to work remotely in Brazil with northern US schedules – New York City Area

WE ALSO VALUE:

• Ability to implement customized APIs and connectors
• Ability to develop in Microsoft On-Prem (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
• Knowledge of automation services (e.g. Terraform, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of visualization technologies (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, Looker)
• Knowledge of Python
• Cloud certifications
• Experience in AGILE methodologies
