Pre-Sales Manager

 

BRIEF SUMMARY OF ROLE:

 

As the Pre-Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by collaborating closely with the sales and marketing departments. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the pre-sales process, from lead generation to proposal development, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect identification to customer acquisition. Your expertise in our areas of specialization, combined with your outstanding leadership and customer-centric approach, will be essential in showcasing the company’s capabilities and guiding prospective clients towards tailored solutions that address their unique business challenges.

  

PROFILE:

  •  Develop and execute effective pre-sales strategies aligned overall business goals and market trends.
  • Define and optimize the pre-sales process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of proposals and presentations.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their specific needs and challenges, building strong relationships and trust.
  • Deliver compelling and tailored presentations that highlight the company’s expertise and offerings, emphasizing the value of our solutions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and consulting departments, to design customized solutions that align with clients’ requirements and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive and persuasive proposals that clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and differentiation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors’ offerings, leveraging this knowledge to position the company effectively in the market.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment and collaboration throughout the customer acquisition process.
  • Share insights, best practices, and feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, business development, or related roles within the technology consulting industry.
  • Strong understanding of one or more areas of expertise (analytics, big data, data science, artificial intelligence, data visualizations and software engineering) is mandatory.
  • Technical understanding of one or more technological stacks (Microsoft Azure Data Stack, AWS Data Stack, GCP Data Stack, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Qlik, Looker and Tableau) is strongly recommended.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading successful pre-sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Business acumen and the ability to align solutions with clients’ strategic objectives and business needs.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, innovation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Multicultural awareness and experience working with diverse teams and clients is an advantage.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, attention to detail, strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and able to influence and communicate ideas to a wide audience, including all levels of leadership.
  • Results-driven with a history of achieving targets and driving business outcomes.
  • Availability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
